GroundVehicle
▸ Transportation
The GroundVehicle is a wheeled or tracked transport vehicle designed for surface routes and designated underground freight tunnels. Powered by PropulsionCores, these vehicles provide essential mobility for military logistics, resource transport, and surface operations where rail access is unavailable or impractical. GroundVehicles are restricted from bunker streets, operating exclusively on the surface and in freight tunnels alongside railway infrastructure. The vehicles vary in size and configuration, ranging from light reconnaissance vehicles to heavy cargo transports and military support vehicles.
GroundVehicles are operated by military and logistics personnel, with the Surface Operations Corps using them for patrols, reconnaissance, and rapid deployment. The Logistics Corps relies on GroundVehicles for transporting supplies between bunkers when rail transport is disrupted or for accessing areas not served by the RailwayNetwork. The vehicles are constructed with reinforced armor and Ash-fog filtration systems for crew protection, and military variants may include light weapon systems for self-defense. GroundVehicles are maintained by the Engineering Corps, with refueling and servicing facilities located at bunker SurfaceBuildings and designated logistics hubs.
