Aircraft
▸ Transportation
The Aircraft is a compact, military-only flying vehicle designed for reconnaissance and rapid deployment operations across the Ash-fog-covered surface. The vehicle is approximately the size of a large drone, capable of carrying up to five personnel for insertion or extraction missions. Aircraft are deployed from ArmoredTrains, launching directly from the train's deck during surface operations. They are designed for vertical takeoff and landing, allowing operation from confined spaces and eliminating the need for runways. The compact size enables the Aircraft to navigate through Ash-fog layers and terrain obstacles that would prevent larger aircraft from operating.
Aircraft are reserved for special occasions requiring rapid response, reconnaissance, or personnel movement where surface travel is impractical or dangerous. They are operated by specially trained military pilots from the Surface Operations Corps. The vehicles are powered by high-tier PropulsionCores, typically Amber or Crimson, providing the power needed for vertical lift and sustained flight. Onboard systems include navigation, communication, and limited defensive capabilities. Aircraft are considered high-value military assets, with strict operational protocols governing their deployment.
